Coaches and players leave for five-week vacation before reporting to camp
East Rutherford, N.J. - Phase one is finished. The Giants have completed their offseason work - including the conditioning program, mini-camps and summer school - and will now take five weeks off before they convene in Albany for the opening of training camp on July 24.
Players and coaches agree that it has been a successful and constructive offseason in terms of player acquisitions and laying the groundwork for what everyone believes will be a highly successful 2003 season....
