With Donald Jones, David Nelson, Stevie Johnson, Lee Evans, Roscoe Parrish, CJ Spiller, Fred Jackson all on our offense our problem is obviously defense. I feel a draft similar to the one that I constructed would benefit this team in a very efficient manner. Every player taken has potential to start other that flyer OT in 7th round. Adding Bailey and Ellis too Troup Carrington and Edwards is certainly a nice much needed bulk up. As well as adding Wilson, Beal, and Miller to the LB corps that already consists of Merriman, Moats, Batten, Kelsay, Coleman, Posluszny, Davis, and Ayodele. Nix said he wanted size so thats what i strived for. Robert Sands is ridiculous for his position. A complete physical specimen. I almost forgot to mention that we selected Patrick Peterson who covers like a CB plays ballhawk like a S hits like a LB and balls on KR and PR just for giggles. As well as adding that Blocking TE to the offense. I really hope our draft looks something like this.

i'm happy with a defense heavy draft. i don't know players the way others do. but i like the strong reliance on getting defensive players in. there is zero depth and starters on our d.

our offense isn't necessarily built to be a juggernaut, but they aren't that god awful that they can't survive with mild tweaks here and there to be competitive.

A lot of good players there, and only Bailey and Sands would have to fall (and not all that far.) I think Ellis in the fourth would be a great pickup for you guys.

It's a good draft, but would you guys be happy having taken no O-linemen?

Well, you definitely have the Bills drafting pattern down pat, don't you?

DB in the 1st (Winfield, Clements, Whitner, Mclovin)
2nd rate D 7 players in 2-3 (Kelsay, Denney, Ellis, Anderson, Carrington, Edwards)
TE in the 4th (Nelson, Fine, Everett-late 3rd, Euhus)
OL in the 7th (Puccillo, McFarland, Pennington, Merz, Bell, Calloway).

Predictable as the sunrise. Unfortunately, that will probably happen.

i don't want peterson at all. but i guess at this point we are struggling to find a DL worthy of the spot. it's either character issues or medical issues.

Was it really possibly that andrew luck was the only sure thing on the draft board?

I don't really like it: Peterson is OK, but not the most accute need by far. Wilson is athletic, but according to some reports is not terribly instinctive. Still a solid pick. Bailey is an underachiever, looks like Tarzan, plays like Jane. Stocker is a solid pick. I think Ellis is along shot to unseat Williams or move ahead of Troup. Therefore he doesn't really fill a need. Beal's measurables have been disappointing, which is why you can project him in the fifth. I doubt he beats out Merriman and Moats. I don't think Sands fills a big need. I doubt Miller beats out Merriman, Moats, Beal, Coleman, and Batten to make the team. And McGill is not going to provide a needed upgrade at right tackle. I believe Buffalo needs to draft a QB.

Of course it's possible you're right and I'm all wet, but you and I have far different opinions about what constitues the best yet mock for Buffalo.

Wouldn't mind this draft at all. I'm all for Peterson at #3 and continuing defense in the 2nd and 3rd is very nice. Plus Bailey falling to the 3rd round is a nice value.

I don't want a CB #1 overall. I don't see it as a need. I also would be pissed if we came out of this draft without a single QB. Come on...Fitzpatrick is a solid backup QB and that's it. And the only other QB on the roster is Levi Brown, who was a 7th rounder and is a bum.

CB is a need though. McGee is made of glass. Florence is a free agent. We have McKelvin and.......well that's pretty much it.
