With all do respect, we're down 2 games to 1 to Phily, fighting for our playoffs lives, playing tonight here in Buffalo!! With that said, who gives a flying **** about Vancouver???

Well, I for one do. Maybe if the Stanley Cup is won by a team with an elite goalie, it will stop all the crap about not needing a top goalie to win a Cup.

Of course, you need elite players around the elite goalie too. Hopefully that can be remedied in the next year or two for Buffalo.

I would argue that you need a hot goalie. Not necessarily Elite. However an elite goalie would have a way better chance to get hot at the right time.
