that was ****ing stupid. All he had to do was NOT crash into the net and Vanek would have scored.

No harm, no foul I guess, but it was still ****ing stupid.

It wasn't stupid...it was over agressive, though.

Really? Vanek would have scored? It was almost like a breakaway.

He was interviewed after the game. He lost the edge of his skate.

OMG...that was great...would the league suspend him for that?

it was an awful marriage, Kaleta who always crashed the net and vanek who always slows down and looks for a pass on an odd man break (not including breakaways). So frustrating.

Vanek looked like the JFK motorcade. Why was he slowing down on a 3-1 break?

He was demonstrating to the sabres how to put stuff in the net.

Can't really fault him for "going to the net". Too bad he took it too literally.

Kaleta love from Bucky Gleason in today's Buffalo News:

I am iffy on Kaleta. I mean, he plays hard, but sometimes plays dumb, but when he is on he truly makes a difference in the game.

PTI, as in he plays hard (gets richard to elbow him), but sometimes plays dumb (crashes into the net for no reason on a 3-1 with 5 minutes to go?

                              i agree.
