In my day we did not have self-esteem... we had self-respect, and no more of it then we earned.

Wow! How did they make you sound so important? Just kidding. Congrats on the recognition.
I've made up my mind. Don't confuse me with the facts.

I'm the most reasonable poster here. If you don't agree, I'll be forced to have a hissy fit.

                Good for you, T. Congrats.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

Thats cool. Now since you have been in the presence of greatness ala Jerry Rice, how do Julio Jones, and A.J. Green stack up potential wise in your opinion? how good can they be? how likely are they to struggle at the pro level? Who is the better receiver based on potential between the 2 in your opinion?

Jerry Rice wasn't looked at as a potential elite receiver coming out of college. We've seen that before at the QB position (see Tom Brady). I don't see Green or Jones having the career Rice did. I see Green as having a Keyshawn Johnson type career, with Julio Jones having a good NFL career, just not elite.

I don't see either of them struggling, that is unless they land at spots with bad QB situations. Right now I see Green going to Cleveland and Jones going to Washington. With Cleveland willing to give McCoy another shot and Washington not having a QB, that could hurt both of their beginnings in the NFL.

On potention, Green has the higher ceiling. If you want a game changer, Green is your man. If you want a possible Hines Ward clone? Then Jones MAY be it. I am not completely sold on him just yet, but he has all the skills and blocking ability down the field to warrant the comparison.
