    Safest Pick in Draft?

    It has to be Peterson.

And How much of a better prospect is Peterson compared to McKelvin coming out of school?

I think he can speak in complete sentences, so he has that going for him, which is nice.

Peterson or Miller would probably be the safest pick, assuming Darius is gone at #2.

Dareus has to be the 'safest' pick in the draft. Coincidentally, he's also probably exactly what the Bills need.
I really hope he 'falls' to us.
BTW, Don't Panic, your sig sums up what I would really hope can happen.

I don't think Dareus is anywhere near Peterson in bust potential. Peterson is much more a safer pick to be a big time player in the league.

Taking whichever QB is there Newton or Gabbert, Bills will at least be respected for making the choice that could change the franchise around.

In my opinion there is no such thing as a safe pick. But as far as safest pick, it depends on the team picking, what their needs are, who they have at the position to fall back on if that pick fails at the next level etc. There are a lot of different scenarios and far too many variables to claim there is a safest pick.

DT, and linesmen in general are hard to evaluate. Certain positions translate easier to the nfl, linemen is not one of them.
