View Full Version : The Bills give media access to their scouts right before the draft?

I haven't heard of another team that does this, it seems odd. To have scouts talking to the media about players in an upcoming draft a week before the event? Seems odd, at least on record.

Granted, they are just commenting and it is hard to draw any conclusions. I suppose it could even be a mis-direction ploy. I have just never heard of this before, discussing individual palyers in detail and not just the draft in general by position.

Good summary on some players, though. Here is the link:

They have been doing it for a few years now, at least.
I wouldn't be at all surprised if other teams do do something similar.
At the end of the day, they aren't actually making the pick, and many of the players who do get 'discussed', will come nowhere near being taken by the bills, due to respective draft positions.
