2-0 now. Sabres are sucking hard tonight. Miller's allowing that soft goal in the last game during overtime appears to have demoralized the team. Maybe he was thinking about all the time he can spend with his girlfriend during the off-season?

every loose puck goes to philly, we make their forecheck look completely unstoppable with all the terrible attempts to clear the zone, we can't hit a break-out pass to save our lives, and philly will probably end up with more goals than we have shots.

The team looks demoralized by that overtime loss Sunday in front of a rabid home crowd. It would be hard to be optimistic coming into this game after that heartbreaker. I know I'd be pissed if were on the team. :(

Problem is way too many players did not come to play in this series. Not one defenseman had a good series other than Gragani. Niedermeyer, Vanek, Gerbe and Ennis were the only consistant forwards. The rest of the team did squat.

If that is the case then that is coaching that did not get them ready. They were outplayed the last few games and they seem to be getting worse every game.

Another horrifyingly bad period of play for the Sabres. They definitely looked like a beaten team, right from the opening puck drop.

Notice again how ****ty their power play is - Philly's looks tight and organized, and keeps the puck moving and well controlled in the Buffalo zone. Buffalo's "power play" seems to have the puck spend half the penalty back in the Buffalo zone.
