I pray the Panthers pass on him. If they do I guarantee he will be a Buffalo Bill. It is a lock in my eyes for a few reasons.

1. Box Office Attraction, Sell tickets
2. They will never live it down if they pass on him and he does what he did in junior college and in the SEC. WIN
3. Finally get that Franchise QB that they have lacked since Jim Kelly.

Though it would be nice to see him go from JuCo Champion, to SEC Champion, to National Champion, to Conference Champion, to SB Champion, I really don't see it in a Bills uniform.

If it does happen? Then hecks yeah, but the odds are stacked against him.

My big fear with Newton is that he would dog it if drafted by Buffalo just to force a trade or release. He strikes me as a player who would rather shoot himself than be stuck in a such an unglamorous city like Buffalo. He might be god's gift to football but I worry he won't make an effort as a Bill.

The negativity, blindness to flash and pure talent. The guy is a winner. We need a winner at QB. I could give 2 ****s what the stats look like, I want a guy that wins games.

I see the possibility, but that's not even close to what I expect. One of the big reasons he was so successful was that it was so hard for collegiate players to tackle him. NFL players won't nearly have that much of a problem - he won't be facing teams that have 7-9 starting defenders smaller than him. And when his running is mostly negated, I believe his passing will then start to suffer.

Are you seriously saying that fans who don't see eye to eye with you is the reason why "Buffalo doesn't deserve a franchise QB"?

i also hope the same. we can't afford another bust. the bills need to hit on this draft and cam newton is not worth the chance.

1. I would pretty much put anything down on the fact that Buddy Nix cares more about winning football games than selling tickets. You can't be a "Box Office Attraction" if you suck.

2. They have passed on many great players over the years, they have been living it down for 10 years.

3. Franchise QB? There is no guarantee.
