Seems to be the way it is heading.

I would think you guys would all be happy about that. A foundation defensive player to build the around, with versatility and ability to dominate.

Seems to be the way it is heading. That's the popular mock across the outlets.

I'd be very happy if it fell that way.

Given Mr. Mayock's very good track record re: the Bills' picks (remember Whitner over Ngata?), this is very good news.

for those who don't know Mayock correctly guessed the Whitner, McKelvin, Maybin, and Spiller picks

also notable he has jake locker going to the patsies

I'm sure Merriman, Moats and Maybin would love that. Dareus could do for the Bills what Ngata does for the Ravens: help stop the run and make the linebacker's lives a heck of a lot easier.

I would be thrilled with that.As would I.

If Dareus is 1a, Peterson is 1b... And yet as good as he can be, the thought of another corner reminds me of the Lions a bit too much... of course they did end up with Calvin Johnson in the end so...

In addition, Ponder did not go in the first in this mock.

That would be awesome

He predicts it in a trade down, though. He doesn't think the Pats take Locker, he thinks they trade down to a team that wants Locker.

BTW, I like Locker's potential and think he has a chance to be real good, but I don't think he fits into the Pats offense as well. The Pats offense is based on precision passing and timing when throwing the ball. They use their TE's and play-action to keep teams off balance. They need more of a pocket passer. Locker, to me, is more of a gunslinger. He can create plays with his feet and throw the ball down field.

That would be ****ing awesome! If he is there, I bet that would be the fastest pick ever. The Bills would sprint to the stage. Lol

Is John Elway really running the Broncos draft room? If so that makes as much sense as when Marv was running our drafts.

Stone Mountain is in Georgia.

... and NE holds pick #33, right before Buffalo. That means every other team that wants a QB and didn't get one yet (TEN, CIN, ARI) will be talking to Belichick about moving to #33 to get him ahead of Buffalo. He can take advantage of that kind of value.

Denver has no OLB's and the DL pool is deep into Saturday. Miller fits.

And we get our man. Please let this happen.

Dareus has got to be the pick if he is there. Except this is is the Bills we are talking about. Peterson or Green or Gabbert or Newton could also be in play and knowing the Bills, stupid decisions have a way of happening on draft day.

Dareus would be the best case scenario. If we get Dareus round one and Mallett at the top of round two I'll pretty much croak on the spot from excitement.

Well, think of it this way: if it doesn't work out, it puts the Bills in an even better position for Matt Barkley. ;)

Remember, the Coimmish already told team that trading 2012 picks is at their own peril, IE, there may not even be a draft.

Vic Carucci just tweeted:

Looks like the only real mystery left in the top 3 is Buffalo's choice. Best idea is Marcell Dareus, who I think is the draft's best player.

And judging by their tweets, a lot of Broncos fans will be pissed if they don't get Dareus. As they should be.
