To put it simply don't. That's rolling out laterally and still delivering a pretty ball. Plenty of things to knock Ponder on, his arm strength is not a big issue.

Nice throw.

Was anyone questioning Ponder's arm strength? If so, I didn't see it.

Ponder got no love from the announcers on that play.

Just in case someone does mention it if we pick him...at least we have it on tape.

I just have one question from watching the video DB...

Who is FATNICK and what is your beef?

:clump:

p.s.

I would be good with a 1. Dareus 2. Ponder draft.

I think Gailey would be able to make something of Ponder.

With the expected run on QBs, would it be completely out of the question to take Ponder at 3? As Mayock (who i trust) always says, QB needs trumps all other needs. And, don't pass on a franchise QB if you don't have one. I don't believe anyone here thinks that Fitz is a franchise QB. So, if the Bills truly believe that Ponder can be a franchise QB... Could you see them pulling the trigger? I'm specifically interested in DraftBoy's response, but whoever... chime in.

I swear DB, if this somehow sparks up on the internet and he runs up the draft boards at the last minute...

Nobody was questioning his arm strength in 2009. It was only during his injury plagued 2010 season that people started to question.

This is all your fault, DB.

Well, it's pointless now: the Vikings picked him at 12. There's been quite a run on the position this year... when was the last year there were four picked this quickly? 99?

No QBs left. Time to go all defense! Yes!

Mallett's still there... and I personally think he could be the best of all of them, that's how wide-open the QB field is this year.

But the LB field is still very full, so defense may indeed be the smarter way to go.
