Unbelievable.

Can't believe Atlanta would want Jones that badly. Considering they were the worst in the league at big plays from the passing game though I guess at least the pick makes some sense.

They swapped 1st round picks this year, so that pick shouldn't really count.

Looking at the big picture, the Falcons drafted Jones with their own 1st rounder, and gave up an additional:
2nd rounder and 4th rounder this year.
1st rounder and 4th rounder next year.

I think the Falcons made a bad move, IMO. They gave up too much for Jones. I'm surprised that Dimitroff is the one who did this.

The Falcons could have easily picked up a veteran WR like Ochocino, TO, or Randy Moss. Would have been more sensible, IMO.

I agree. Not a move I would have expected from a team like the Falcons.

It was offered to the Bengals, Falcons wanted one of the 2 and would have taken Green but Bengals turned them down for the same.

For a guy that's a "franchise" quarterback in Ryan, they now have 3 first round picks at wr, a HOF TE and a 1600+ yard rusher. But he carries them on his back...

I agree they gave up to much but is there any wonder why cleveland is bad year in and year out? YOU ARE NOT NEW ENGLAND. They pick 27th this year and at best 25 next year. Build your team before you start giving picks away.
