    Bowers' knee: What exactly happened?

I'm too lazy to search for it, can someone fill us in on what the issues are with his knee? Has he had surgery?

He had minor surgery on it. Rumor is the injury in his knee is degenerative bone on bone and will prob only last 5 years top in the league.

CBSSports.com reports that recent surgery for partially torn knee cartiledge could impact Da'Quan Bowers' participation at next week's NFL Scouting Combine.

Bowers led the nation with 15.5 sacks this past season in his junior season at Clemson. He's projected as a potential overall number one pick.

For a 2nd round pick, it's well worth the 5 years tops.

Bowers knee is a chance but for a top 5 talent like him its well worth the risk in the 2nd round if he's there u have and must take him.

But the pats will or trade out so someone else will they won't give the Bills the chance on him imo

bone on bone arthritic condition is huge. No cure for that, and if he plays there is a 99.9% chance he will live the remainder of his life crippled by it.

heck if it's bone on bone he is guarenteed to have a knee replacement even if he doesn't play.. Knee replacements only last 10-15 years tops, and you cannot play sports on a knee replacement

Boy are you off base. I have a knee replacement, no reduction in leg strength, yes it can wear out in 10 to 20 years but it can be redone.

At what point will it be too painful & too damaged for him to pay at top level? Will that happen in year 3 or year 5? What will be the year the knee starts giving him serious issues?

The knee is not going to go to hell in one off-season in year 5. There has to be some lead up to it, or is year 5 when that lead up will begin?
