All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
There is work to be done and things to be learned. We are going to try to get the old look back - or something close to it. We also know there are bugs. A thread will be started to report bugs and then we can pass those onto the host.
Thank you for all the patience and support with this - hopefully this will greatly reduce the crashes and other site issues we have had lately.
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

Hard argue that anyone improved their team as much as New Orleans. Cam Jordan and Mark Ingram are huge upgrades.
The Lions have basically recreated the old jags model... two beasts up the middle with Fairley and Suh.
And the Steelers made the perfect Pittsburgh pick with Cam Heyward.
But New Orleans has to get the nod IMO.
I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?" "Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet. You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times."
It was all true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach.
He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.
An argument can be made for the Bills: we didn't panic and move into the 1st for a QB just to get one and we got, arguably, the best defensive player in the draft at #3.
If the Saints didn't draft Ingram and give up a 1st round pick next year I would think they would have a good draft based on how much I liked Jordan but the fact that they gave up a 2nd rounder and 1st rounder next year for a guy I think is the 3rd best running back in the draft is not smart. I think Ryan Williams is a beast and is so much better.
I think the Patriots had a good draft. They got their left tackle they needed and got another 1st round pick for next year and a 2nd round pick this year. It's amazing how they do this every year.
New Orleans did well for themselves. It may not be a flashy pick, but I loved Sherrod to Green Bay. Solidifying and injecting youth into that OL. Giants also needed a talented DB. Colts also made a very good selection.
Hard for me to pick one team that really stood out. If I was just looking at the first day, I'd say Saints because they were the only team to pick twice (IIRC). But that's sort of a default choice then. Not sure Ingram was worth trading both of those picks for.

couldn't have said it any better. Freaking pats. Hell they will trade 33 and have 3 1st rounders next year, which if that happens then I hope there is a 1 year absence of the draft!
The Pats just use that second first round pick to acquire late round picks they never actually pick twice in the first, which is why they always have one.

Look, I want to say Bills, they got a good player, also Saints, Jags, and I think Atlanta has a plan is happy with what they did.
I believe Carolina is very happy with what they did. They have their QB of the future. Feast or famine, the direction of the team is set. To me that is initially something makes a draft that can be looked at as successful (for now) until it plays out.
