    Bottom line on Bowers..

If he gets by NE he will be a Buffalo Bill.
He has to much potential and we will rotate
him in anyway to bring him along slowly. His
contract will reflect and incentive ladened deal.
So if he doesn't produce he doesn't get paid.
The Bills brought him in to consider him for
the first round people.....what do you think
their thoughts will be if he is there in the second?
If their doctors said his knee was fine in public?

Bruce and Thrum had bum knees also..not to say
one is the other but todays doctors are a bit better
then then. He is even worth the pick as a third down
part timer people...you cant double team everyone.
High character, high production, pay as you go player
...bargin bin.....this sounds like a perfect Bills pick if
    you ask me.

We trade back up to grab that MLB and we can end
    the draft right there....
    Hated by the stupid..
    Loved by their moms.

We can wait, it's a weak class at ILB. OLB has some depth.

If his knee problem is so bad that it is literally bone rubbing on bone with nothing left inside then I don't want him. That's not how the knee is supposed to work.

Neither would the Bills... they may not feel that's the case.

**** happens, I would roll the dice in as many chances it presents to me.

Since we were getting ripped for Maybin last night on National TV I really think you take Reed.

It's the safe pick and the Bills have been horrible at taking guys that have been "high risk, high reward".

over 6' 3" and 280 with a frame to add more bulk? Dwan Edwards is 6' 3" and 290.

If the the knee where that bad he could not walk.
the surgery was for an injury that is rehab-able.
His condition may or may not be...but it is not
a lock he has the condition. Even if he does
he will be able to play 4-5 years at least
but could play for more...and each year
they double their capacity to heal the
human machine. He was playing at
very high level before injury. He
will be back to 80 or 90 % of that
we will have gotten a steal. Yes
                      even for 4 -5 years...that is the
                      cycle anyway of rebuilding
                      anyway. I say take a
                      chance.

I understand but it is insane to think one has to do with the other.

I'm not draft boy, but everything I have read & heard about Bowers say he projects to a 4-3 team & is not suited to play for a 3-4 team.

There is a huge difference between walking and all the things a DE has to do to be effective.

As I have already said, I don't fully buy it. IMO, "not" suited is too strong a term... "best" may be a better term.

But, refer to what Gailey says about this:
