I'm rooting for Bowers, but I would not be upset with Rudolph at all. We haven't had a good tight end in a veryyyyy long time.

Wow, Ayers slips to round 3 in that mock.

I don't see Ayers dropping to bottom 15 of the round.

I would be very sad if Denver picks Bowers right ahead of the Browns.

I think if Reed and Bowers are gone, the Browns are on the phone trying to sell a QB to Washington or Oakland or Seattle ahead of Arizona.

Do you really think Seattle will draft back-to-back OL?

Won't be upset with that.

Is there a reason for Ayers' projected fall, DB?

NOT THE DUDE...
04-29-2011, 04:36 PM
bruce carter is the pick, dude is a beast and would have been a top 15 pick...

Can't get off blocks.

I'd be surprised if CIN doesn't take Dalton.

They have little brother Jordan Palmer (a nice passer, but absolutely no pocket presence - a true deer in the headlights), and a cast-off fellow who got some rookie ink a while back - Dan LeFevour.

Still, Brown might consider Mallet the "value" pick, just like he did with Klingler and Akili Smith. Brown nixed Ditka's offer of the entire NO draft to grab Ricky; then-HC Coslet was apoplectic over that.

No pats for Coslet's head, though. He crawled back to CIN in later years for the $$$.

NOT THE DUDE...

sheppard is a lock in the 3rd if we dont take carter here...

33. New England Patriots (f/CAR): LB Brooks Reed, Arizona

Third Round

66. Cincinnati Bengals: DT Jurrel Casey

Disagree.

They have Peko, Pat Sims, possibly the return of Tank Johnson, and 2nd year player Geno Atkins.

They are in deep doo-doo at G, with Bobbie Williams seeing his better days behind him, and a turnstile at the other guard spot. They could use some center help, and who knows when tub 'o goo Andre Smith will again bust his foot. Not that he's amounted to much when he played.

I think it's Reed as well at 33.

I wouldn't mind that at all DB, but I've come to the conclusion that we are not drafting Rudolph. After doing a little research, it seems that they are high on TE Scott Chandler who they just brought in. I think we go Bowers if their doctors clear him, or we go LB.

Interestingly enough, heard some analysts saying that we are more likely to go ILB than OLB with this pick...

Can't get off blocks.

Lol. Pass. Why would you draft him in the top of the 2nd then? Hope we pass on Ayers... his name is familiar to a DE taken in the 1st the same year Maybin was drafted and that guy is also a bust.
