He said Buffalo was the most interested team.......

Terrific value. Strong arm, great leader. Very athletic. He's a good one.

He was better than Micheal Vick when he played for VT, that has to say something.

He's an extremely gifted athlete but he's NOT Mike Vick by any means. Pairing him with Chan would be interesting to see what they can do together.

For what its worth.
My son graduated from VT and crossed paths with Tyrod many times.

Tyrod Taylor is nothing like Vick. He's not 6'1, maybe not even quite six foot, and his body is not as thick as Vick.

His personality is completely different . Very high self discipline, character guy. Honor roll high school student.

I really don't see this guy as an NFL qb, more of a wildcat option, and that seems to have run its course, and he's more "quick" than a straight line speed guy, so I don't see him as a kick returner either.

He is much more of a patient passer than Vick though.

any QB taken now is a wasted pick IMO

I'd definitely take a flier on him in the 5th. I guess I wouldn't be upset if we spent our second 4th (the Marshawn pick) on him, but it's a reach at that point.

We should take an OLineman or OLB with our first 4th rounder. I'm thinking Marcus Cannon. He can play RT, or Guard.

tyrod had the fastest 40 time of the qbs in the draft.. i wouldnt say he was more quick than fast.

and i went to vt as well and have watched all his games.. he definately improved significantly over his time at tech. he has a good arm.. he is one of the best runners in the draft at the qb spot.. but he is short.. still taller than breez but he is just under 6'. i think with gailey's history, he would be the most ideal fit at this point and could have some real value. i wouldnt say he would be a wasted pick by any means.

Do you project him to be an above average starter? Anything below that is a wasted pick, especially when we can get a player who can contribute right away not 2 years down the line. Sign a veteran backup QB and be done with it....

he absolutely has the skill to be a playmaker.. there is no question.

i can show you 100 qbs that were "projected" to be an above average starter.. and sucked balls.. i just know he has all the physical tools to be good.. and with gailey in there.. i feel like he specializes in getting the most out of qbs like tyrod.
