Nobody likes to come into Network Associates Coliseum and contend with the Silver and Black - period. New Raider and All-Pro Defensive Tackle Dana Stubblefield can attest to that. "It's different playing against these guys in the black hole," Stubblefield said. Is Dana looking forward to being on the favorable side of the hole? "Are you kidding me?" That was his reply when reporters posed that question on day two of the Raiders recent mini-camp. The 6-2, 290-pound defensive tackle spent seven seasons across the Bay with the San Francisco 49ers, where Network Associates Coliseum was considered enemy territory. Now, Stubblefield calls it home.

Then again, there was a lot to be gained from extending a 10-year NFL career another few seasons with a team that's fast become a retirement home for able-bodied 49ers castoffs.

"Don't I look good in silver and black?" Stubblefield asked, sounding the refrain uttered in recent seasons by former and current teammates Charlie Garner, Jerry Rice and Bill Romanowski. ...
