Well you can blame Kevin Seifert and Bill Williamson, who ranked him 3 and 4, respectively....

well no one at ESPN bothers to watch our games, so they're probably basing their opinions on Whitner on his Twitter posts, in which case he got snubbed.

How they arrive at the scores looks pretty screwy. Half of the panel doesn't even rank him, yet those don't even seem to count.

this is nothing new, I never even turn on ESPN for any reason anymore, I don't even watch sportscenter anymore its just terrible terrible sports coverage

If you want true unbiased (most times) of the bills and NFL teams you need to watch NFL network its definitely the lesser of two evils. If your stuck in an area with Time warner, I feel bad for you, get dish, time warner sucks anyway

Well, he will be starting for some team next year. Not the Bills. I am interested to see how he does elsewhere.

A lot of people think we have a better player on our own team already.

they ranked him that high so Whitner wouldn't tweet them a challenge to a fight.

Maybe they just look at the number of tackles he has, but disregarding how far down from the LOS he made those tackles and all the misses he had.

Good, maybe some team will overpay for him when free agency starts and the Bills will get a better compensatory pick.

ESPN is terrible, they were going down hill and just went to Garbage when they hired all of these bloggers for each division, went to ESPNBoston, ESPNNewYork, etc.

I am so glad to have NFL Network, their draft coverage and pre-draft shows are so much more informative and better. They have some goons but Mayock, Lombardi and Casserly definately drop some good knowledge and behind the scenes stuff also.

So if Whitner is #7 does that mean George Wilson is in the top 5?????

Yeah, 4 of the 8 columnists polled didn't have him ranked. I would love to know Seiferts logic for putting him third.

Good I hope someone give him a big fat contract so we get compensatory picks. By By

That hot supper will probably sign with the Patriots and become known as Brewski II.
