What would a pairing of Weber and Myers be like? I would also love to have a guy like Parise, but there is a part of me that would like to sign Callahan or Dubinsky away from the Rangers.

I highly doubt they do what Edmonton did to them, but this team would sure look a lot different with Drew Doughty on the blueline.

There's nothing to say they couldn't trade for one of them, especially to a team that might be a little cash strapped or not willing to pay that much (formerly Buffalo).

I think RFA's are wishful thinking, even with Pegula running the show. It's just too risky-if you miss, you can really screw up the future.

The only possibility is like Chern said: a team willing to trade fairly to unload salaries.

Problem is:
Offensively, Our PP never gives Myers a position to shoot (Like Boston Does w/ Chara). Its all pass-pass-pass-turnover, They should be letting Myers Bomb it from the Blue Line and tipping in rebounds.

Defensively, no one wants to help him. He was taking on 3 flyers in Game 5 single handily.:air:

I never understand why people even bother looking at the RFA list.

99.99% of the time any player you'd be willing to give up 4 1sts to get, the team with that players rights matches the offer without a hint of hesitation.

Short of any of these players demanding to get be let go, they will stay with the team who has their rights.

That being said... as a Habs fan i am willing to let AK go for the 4 1sts if you guys want.

But as much as there are some amazing names on that list, just don't even go there. You're wasting your time.
