I like his skill set and demeanor. I think he has promise and is as good a prospect as any of the qb's we would have drafted after 3rd over all. He has had a year in the system and has a leg up to any young qb that would be brought in. I for one will be watching him in preseason to see if there is any improvement from last year. Is he the teams future? I can't say yes...but I can't say no for sure either.

After he was released, no other teams even wanted him on their PS. He was behind Brian Brohm, that is how bad he is.

I still don't know how how wasn't drafted higher. He clearly played better than Drew Henson in college, but they played Henson a lot too. I think he was even drafted higher.

I think we'll pick up a vet back up and a rookie free agent and I expect Levi Brown to win the 3rd qb job. Especially if there's a limited or no preseason. It's going to be hard for any rookie to beat him out, but I don't have any expectations for him to amount to anything more than a mediocre back up.

He looked Awefull in preseason last year. That being said there is a transistion from a school like troy to the NFL, but i still cant see him as ever being anything more than a backup. Has a cannon for an arm but is way to innaccurate

No one even believes he's Fitz's back-up let alone the future. We'll see. He was working out with Fitz and rest of the guys in AZ . Hopefully he's learned a few things by picking Fitz's brains out.

He's athletic and supposedly pretty smart, but based on last preseason he still has a steep learning curve. I'll say no, but stranger things have happened in sports.
