NFL rookies must play wait-and-see game

An extended lockout would make it virtually impossible for rookie quarterbacks like Carolina's Cam Newton, Tennessee's Jake Locker, Jacksonville's Blaine Gabbert, Minnesota's Christian Ponder and Cincinnati's Andy Dalton to play this season.

Carolina made sure Newton, the top overall pick, didn't leave the building without a playbook. Other teams followed suit, taking advantage of their short window of opportunity before the lockout resumed.

I wonder if Chan got a playbook to Fitz and told him to make copies? He's been working out with several Bills WRs in AZ.
