And he agreed to do another interview with me. Please save all the "Why do you suck" questions and post the ones you really want answered. I am sure this thread will get flooded with junk, but for those that want real questions asked, I will do my best to get them answered by him for you.

Ready. Set. Go.

What have you been doing during the lock-out?

trapezeus
05-07-2011, 05:18 PM
with the front 7 being upgraded heavily through the draft, does he think that will let him really find his pass rushing groove this year?

Dr. Lecter
05-07-2011, 05:25 PM
Do you think that you will be able to tap into the experience of Shawne Merriman to help you improve your game?

BertSquirtgum

have you taken steroids to bulk up since you're too small to be dressed on game day?

Brilliant question.

I bet he uses that one first.

What are you at in terms of weight? Can you maintain that weight? What have you been doing to improve your game in order to contribute next season?

The coaches say that they've told you what you need to do to be a more productive player. What have they instructed you that you need to do and what is your status on implementing the plan?

I really don't care to hear anything more from him. He is what he is. One of the biggest busts in Bills history.

Michael82

What stance do you prefer at the line? I notice that the coaches have you with your hands on the ground. Wouldn't it be better if you stood at OLB and ran straight at the QB?

Novacane
05-08-2011, 07:29 AM

Maybin is a bigger bust that Flowers. Flowers had a couple sacks and at least saw the field. Maybins next big play will be his first. Williams could be a bigger bust because he was a top 5 pick. Still, Maybin is in competition for the biggest bust.

Since T-Long was nice enough to come here to get questions for the interview, can we pretend that we are reasonable mature adults?

Raptor
05-08-2011, 11:17 AM
-Have you been working out with Merriman?
-What affect has it had with you being able to work out with him if he does
-What pass rushing moves is he looking to add this year?
-This is becoming a make or break training camp, is he feeling the pressure?
-After a year in this defense does he feel its a good fit for him?
-Was he humbled at all by being made inacticve last year for a few games?
-What does he make of the public comments made about him by Nix and Gailey? Motivate? does he hear them? does he agree with them?
-How often is he working out during the lock out?

YardRat

I know they aren't legitimate questions and are inappropriate for the actual interview, but +10 for the dress, garmin, and end of career comments. Lmao.

Anyone remember his draft day? Check out his draft video...it's depressing. Instead of talking about all the good he did, the ESPN guys are busy showing the lowlights... :ill:

how does he feel about guys drafted in the later round last year like Moats seeing the field more often than him last year? Is he going to do something about it?

Bangarang
05-08-2011, 04:52 PM
Like Chris Kelsay, Arthur Moats, David Nelson, Shawne Merriman, Tiki Barber, Gabe Carimi, Mark Ingram, etc? I guess that's not good enough. I guess you expect me to get Drew Brees or Peyton Manning for you.

He's not insulting you. I think he's basically saying that he'll save his serious questions for the next time you interview a player. Maybin doesnt count because he's such a scrub. lol Calm down, man.

do you realize the Bills passed on Brian Orakpo to draft you? He has 19.5 career sacks. Would it be too much trouble for you to pull within 19 sacks of him?

Ask him if he regrets leaving Penn St. at such a young age and if he thinks he should have stayed another year or two.

Also, ask him what he thinks about the NFL wanting to implement a rookie wage scale limiting the amount of money high draft picks can get.

1. What is it like to hear Chan push/challenge him in the press? Since the middle of last year, chan has said that maybin has to get better quickly or else he isn't going to be on the team. how does a player respond to be "outed" like that?

2. Athletes on twitter. is it tough to have a twitter account when you have detractors? It's so much more personal for some unruly fans to get on a bad game. How does he and other athletes deal with the negativity that can be sent their way?
