All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
You guys, the solution is so simple. Find the crazy kids who are shooting up the schools and have them shoot people getting off planes from West Africa.
No more school shootings, no more Ebola.
Obama would have thought of this already if he wasn't a pinko commie Nazi queer-loving wetback-loving Kenyan Indonesian Muslim.
Nix said Dareus will be outside (5 tech) on 1st and 2nd downs and inside on 3rd and long. Obviously he's going to be relied on for instant penetration through the B gap.
Imagine of he's pretty good at it right away? Teams may have to double-team him and that will allow Merriman to come off the edge 1-on-1 with a Tackle (and have a short route to QB).....or it will force teams to keep a TE or RB in to block, leaving less receivers in the route on such a big play. This guy can really change so much about what we do and how good we do it.
All that being said, I'd go:
--Dareus and Williams inside
--Merriman hand on ground rushing from edge of OT (5-tech)
--depending on opponent, offensive set and personnel, either Kelsay also with hand on ground rushing or an OLB (Moats?) ready to drop or rush.

Could see more zone blitzing with the crew we have now, with the 'DE's' (who are actually now LBers) dropping into coverage in favor of Moats/Meriman etc coming off the edge.
