Don't know if the clip matched the timeline, but they made it look like Buddy Nix pumped his arm when Denver took Miller. Have to think Dareus was a priority for Buffalo the entire way.

However, the longer the draft went on, the better he looked.

He's a 2 at 10 and a 10 at 2 kinda guy.

here's an interesting tidbit

Williams was top day 2 choice

I asked Nix after the Patriots took Dowling at 34 if his top choice was still on the board and this was his answer.

“Absolutely, and of the two that were there Dowling wasn’t one of them,” said Nix.

So Buffalo’s top two choices for pick 34 were still on the board. Naturally Nix kept their second choice for the 34th pick to himself.

If it really happened that way, that's about as clear an indication that Dareus was at the top of their board when the draft started as we could possibly get.

"It's obvious we weren't where we wanted to be defensively and we're trying to fix that."
