Rush shares more impressions of Sheppard in today’s edition of FOUR DOWNS …

1st DOWN

Describe Kelvin Sheppard in 30 seconds or less …
Kelvin Sheppard first off is a leader. Number two he is a very cerebral, smart player. He is a guy that lined up in a John Chavis (LSU Defensive Coordinator) defense. And the third thing is he gives incredible effort. He rallies and runs to the football and has a nose for the ball.

What is Kelvin Sheppard’s best quality as a football player?
He’s a leader. He was a leader of one of the top defenses. We had a lot of true freshman play at LSU and you saw kids on and off the field gravitate towards Kelvin.

Sounds like D. Talley. We can only hope. Talley was the most underrated player on the Super Bowl teams. Most Bills fans knew how good he was, but he didn't get the national recognition he deserved.

I don't know... I was 7,8,9 and I knew Darryl Talley was pretty good. Him and Cornelius Bennett. That was before the internet turned people into superfans. I think the Bills got their due for being a great team with great players.
