I'm not concerned about the suspension. It seems to be an isolated incident and he'll learn from it.

His numbers look good but don't expect lightning to strike twice.

Im looking for thoughts on playing with Buffalo Soon... The Suspension I posted just to show how tough he is, and that he HITS.

Hear he is a mean version of Myers. Just what we need.

Can't wait for him and Kassian to put some toughness in this team.

I'll put this in the "I'll believe it when I see it" category.

I've never seen the kid play, and even if I did, I'm not good enough at evaluating young hockey talent to make a reasonable prediction on his chances for NHL success.

If he can play in Buffalo soon, and have the same level of success that he's had at lower levels of hockey, it will be great. We need a gritty defenseman. But at the same time, I hope Pegula and co are still looking for a gritty defenseman in FA because there is no guarantee that this guy will pan out.

cheap option though, Op. You can get a FA and pay for it and have a morrison on the team.

This si a good pickup. cheap contract, 3 years and if he's good, it's a steal. IF he's not, we'll be sick of him by year 2 and it'll be easy to get rid of him.

I like the move.

Exactly. Can't wait to see him in Buffalo.

Like someone said might not happen right away like Myers but will happen sooner rather than later.

He will play in Rochester next year. We'll see him in 2012.

Most likely but I wouldn't at all be surprised if he made the Sabres outright next year. He is physically ready and we could use his toughness on defense.

Rochester? Did the deal go through already?

Rochester? Did the deal go through already?

LOL. Even after all this time, I keep thinking Rochester is still our farm team.

Myers was an unusual case. I don't see any way this kid sticks with the team all year.

Besides, if the Sabres only additions for next year are Luke Adam, McNabb, Graniani and other guys from Portland without any big free agent signings or trades, people will be upset.

I doubt they bring in more than 3 players, which isnt enough to fill anything.
