NFL raises prices on replica jerseys

The Tampa Bay-specific website recently reported that the league has increased the price for replica jerseys (i.e., the ones with the painted numbers that eventually begin to come off after a certain number of washings) at NFLShop.com from $79.99 to $84.99.

This and the lockout does not help them from losing more business to the $20 Chinese knockoffs "authentic" jerseys, which are increasing in higher quality.

They used to at least have the decency to pretend that it's not just one giant money grab. Now, they are just unapologetically bilking us out of every dime.

Good thing for us that there are no Bills players whose jerseys are worth buying right now.

The Bills had a jersey sale this past weekend. I went up to try to get an AFL throwback, they didn't have any. They had $10 jerseys of Lynch, Edwards, and Stroud.
