According to Joe B. of WGR550, Marcell Dareus appeared and worked out with other Bills players today. Some Bills players were meeting him for the first time. http://twitpic.com/52cdoc

According to 97Rock this AM, George Wilson has gone out of his way to make the point to the rookies attending the workouts..."Don't lift, do drills, nothing. If you get hurt, you're screwed".

As much as I would like to see the rookies out there working and getting into things, George is 100% right. Those guys don't have a contract yet. An injury now could cost them millions.

But, there's probably a lot they can learn by watching and talking to the vets about assignments etc.
Wake up, brush your teeth, and get ready for a day of hating the Dolphins. Or the Pats? How to choose?

Bills' Dareus gets with the program

his Atlanta-based agent, Todd France, warned him about the risk of injury before Dareus left for Western New York.

"It's nothing," Dareus said Wednesday about his presence at the two-hour workout. "There was not a doubt in my mind I'm coming. My agent was like, 'Marcell, you've got to do the insurance thing, you're not covered with them [the Bills] yet.' I said, 'You know Todd, I still want to go out there and show my face. I'm the first pick. The [Bills' players] were kind of like, 'We want him out here.' I'm not going to turn them down, because I've got to show some kind of support because I do want to be out here. I'm kind of excited. They wanted me out here, so I'm here."

Bills quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick is eager to see Dareus on the practice field in a competitive setting. Asked his first impression of Dareus, Fitzpatrick saw offensive linemen Geoff Hangartner and Kraig Urbik within earshot and cracked: "I just want to say good luck to Eric Wood and Geoff Hangartner and Kraig Urbik and Andy Levitre."
