Hardy says he is healthy and plans on making the Ravens this year, after they signed him to a reserve/future contract in January.

Off-season puff-pieces aside, Hardy has a ladder to climb. The Ravens are a good team, and for all his physical ability he still hasn't proven he can play WR at the NFL level. It takes a lot more than talent, and he still has to answer questions on if he has the mental toughness to make it. On top of that, he hasn't shown ability as a ST-er, so it makes it harder for the team to keep him as a reserve.

Can't deny his size and speed, though. It will be interesting to see him play, assuming the pre-season isn't wiped out by the lockout.

hardy isn't into football. he'll say the right things, but he will not learn the play book and he will not fight through pain to play.

this was a good guy to get rid of early.
i didn't miss him at all last year.

Not Steve Johnson?

Was making the comparison based on height. Stevie made me forget about Parrish.

Not Josh Reed?

We got something out of Reed .

What I was implying was we're getting from Nelson what I was hoping to get out of Hardy and Stevie what I had hoped from Parrish.

I know I was just kidding.

I do wish Hardy luck but he studied and practiced like he did as a Bill he won't make the final roster.

What a waste of(another) high draft pick this guy was.

Agreed. Nelson last year was everything I hoped Hardy would be- a dependable, rangy, mid-field target; able to use his body and catch in traffic.

For me, he was a bigger disappointment than Maybin. I wanted the bills to take him in the first.
