Yes folks - the Zone is hiring.

We are looking for people to help us out keeping the front page up to date.

If you can spend a small amount of time looking for news stories and adding them to the front page, we can use your help. It will not take much time at all - 10-15 minutes are most.

Adding the stories is relatively easy to do and there are complete and easy to understand instructions available.

What are the requirements, what do we need on our end in terms of software, Operating System, etc.. ? Here is what I think is another somewhat important question, how much experience is required?

All you need is your basic PC.

There is a software package that makes adding news very easy.

BTW - this is volunteer work. Nobody here gets paid.

lol I kind of got that part figured out already. The reason knowing whether a certain software is required is important is that some of us run a Linux based operating system. Some software isn't compatible.

That is a technical question. As far as I know, as long as you using a basic browser you are OK.

Yep, it's all browser based so you should be okay. Some sites are incompatible with Linux even through the browser but I'm guessing this one should be just fine. I'll fire up my laptop (Ubuntu) when I get home and give it a test.
