Bang or Bucks: Keeper

So today I am introducing a new version of Bang or Bucks to the Zone. A Keeper edition. We had 5 Zoner volunteer to participate each of them have been given 50,000ZB's to play with. If we decide to adopt this game going forward you may use your ZB's and get involved. For the next 10 days or so we're just going to be working with the pilot group.

Each day I will post a girl, no dollar amount attached. The participants (Mr. Miyagi, SabreEleven, Mski, the last buffalo fan & Stewie) will PM me an offer for that girl the highest bid gets the girl (who will be created as a card for them to keep in their signature). Once the card is yours you may do as you please with it... sell it to another Zoner trade it for another girl, whatever.

At the end of the year we will award a grand prize to the zoner that has the best stable of girls. Since this is a brand new take on an old game you will see some HOF'ers and celebs we have already ran through BoB.

It's just a blind bid. So you wont get to see what anyone else bids. Right now, I think you should only sell to the pilot group. But once we go live you can sell anything you purchased during this run to anyone.

I think it's the Price is Right situation. Bidders should be wise to bid in uneven amount - such as 9,852 zbs.

In tie situations, you can PM the tying parties to inform of the tie and request to submit rebids. I'd rather not get into weird dollar amounts all over the place

Now you're making this into a time sensitive game, which I thought it wasn't at the premise of this game.

I'm going to close the bidding everyday at 3PM. So it is somewhat time sensitive. I think it will be pretty rare that we have a tie anyways. If I PM the two parties then they know someone else is on the same page and they can adjust their bid accordingly, I'd like to try and keep everything blind.

Maybe but if I did that leaves you guys wishing you stepped it up more in the first game its a win/win either way. This game isnt always about what you get sometimes its going to be about what you let slip away.

Agreed I'm not sure how I can factor that into the final results though. On the cards I will print who initially "drafted" the girl and what they paid.

But maybe a spending cap is a good idea. that way the guys who have millions of ZBs dont just sweep the game. That's what this period is about, working out the wrinkles to make this more fun for you guys.

That's the idea Mikey... but this game only works if these cards actually start having some value. This type of format is real popular on FB with the Ultimate Madden Team and BorB has always had its appeal so I'm just trying to expand on that. It will be some work on me, but it's worth it if we develop something people look forward to.
