As of today, who do you think is the Bills' best player?
I have to go with Kyle Williams. Fred Jackson is probably # 2.

no love for Moorman?
no love for Moorman? during the years i had season tickets "the bledsoe years" i wouldn't have thought twice to say it was him... but now with the play of kyle williams last year, and fred jackson, i dont know who i would choose from the three
Dareus.
He has yet to play a down. I think most hope he becomes the teams best player in the next few years, but probably premature at this point.

Agreed, it may be premature but I think when he steps on the field his first game, by the end of that game everyone will know why the Bills drafted him at #3 & by the end of the season everyone will say he is the best player on the team.

Fred may be consistent & productive, but he is not an elite player. Kyle Williams is also consistent & productive & much closer to elite than Fred.

If teams were plucking our roster...
Dareus, Wood, Spiller, A. Williams, K. Williams, Levitre

I would add Stevie Johnson & Lee Evans. There are a number of teams that would be happy to get either of them.

We don't have an elite player to name. Jackson is average but he isn't a playmaker and TD machine. I'd have to say at this point in time Kyle Williams and he is only above average.
This post is one more reason as to why we have been so bad for the past decade. We don't have any elite players. We have a bunch of average players but nobody elite that you could say is a franchise player.

I'm not surprised but still can't understand the lack of love for Evans. That guy is super talented, just needed someone to throw him the ball.

That is definitely a huge part of the problem. Contrast the top guys on the Bills roster versus our divisional rivals:
NE: Brady, Mankins, Wilfork, Mayo
Jets: Revis, Mangold, D'Brick, Harris
Miami: Long, Wake, Marshall, Dansby
Without a doubt, Kyle Williams.

I'm hoping Dareus trumps them all in Year 1
Dareus is already the Bills best player.

He's a good supporting WR but he isn't a #1 or an elite player. He would make a great #2 on a team with a true #1 WR or a good duo with another decent WR on the other side. He is a one trick pony who is great at one thing and that is running a deep streak down the field. All the teams have to do is take away that big play and route and you can mostly take him out of the game.
When it comes to going over the middle, moving the chains or catching short passes and turning them into big plays he is very average. You would've thought with his speed he has he would have been better at making big plays out of short routes and breaking them for big plays.

We can hope he is but until he steps on the field, or any player for that matter, there isn't any way you can call him the best player on the team.
There is a big difference from college football and the NFL. All of them top draft picks are considered good when they are drafted but more flame out then turn into elite players. Lets hope he is the real deal.

WRONG!!!!!! Alvin Harper was a good #2 receiver in Dallas. As soon as he went to Tampa & became the #1 receiver he SUCKED. Evans has NEVER sucked & he has been the #1 receiver since his rookie year.
Wait until this year. With Stevie getting more coverage from other teams & Evans a bigger part of the offense his numbers will improve from last year.
