Not that I thnk anyone expected either one back but this does open up the door the find another veteran Center. I've already posted my thoughts on Chris Drury but who knows what kind of money he's seeking and if he'd be okay being a 3rd/2nd liner.

Didn't think Nieds would be back anyway, and good riddance to Connelly...I really wish he would just hang up the skates before he gets a shot that damages him for life.

we should never have gotten rid of drury. would love to have him back if he isn't asking for an arm and a leg.

We'd want him back for what?? He'll be 35 yrs old when the season starts, has a degenerative knee injury, scored 14 goals in 09-10 and one last season....

Our cap hit for Leino is slightly less than Toronto's for Connolly. Nice deal for us.
