I'm bored and I'll admit I love the NFL offseason more than anything and with it looking like it might be starting soon I thought start with OLB that we might want to pursue. That being of course David Bowens, who if you can't recall, was the guy we traded for a few years ago when traded TE Bobby Collins yet ultimately cut when he didn't fit our then 4-3 defense. Well now he's an aging OLB with experience in the 3-4 and pretty sure has played under Edwards and/or Wannestadt in Miami. At the very least he'd given a veteran behind Merriman/Kelsay/Moats and a likely improvement over Reggie Torbor. I realize he won't be a guy we'd immediately pursue but I like to uncover the less noticable guys. Thoughts?

By the way we have kelsey and Merriman at OLB, not to mention Moats, Maybin, and I guess Torbor. not thinking OLB is a need at all.
Bowens is just a body. We don't need bodies.

Those names you mentioned make me believe it's the most current crying need.Anonymity is an abused privilege, abused most by people who mistake vitriol for wisdom and cynicism for wit
