No more two a days in the NFL

The entire league has been invited to Club Jauron! As a concession by NFL owners, they've agreed to eliminate two a days during training camp.

Now all we need to do is re-hire Jauron. No pads allowed!

In all seriousness, there's no correlation between regular season injuries and two-a-days and no two-a-days. Injuries will happen regardless. Hitting each other in the mouth in pads twice a day doesn't make you any less susceptible to injury than hitting each other in the mouth in one-a-days.

This is good for the players' morale and may allow for more mental preparation and more crispness in the single practices.

Really? How many 2 a days do they do over the course of camp? 5 maybe?

It certainly helps with conditioning, but 5 extra workouts a year isn't going to make any difference in how long a player's joints last.

The teams that are already good don't need them anyways.

              disagree.

              2 a day's are about conditioning.

The teams that do them don't melt in the 4th quarter. The teams that skip them do;.

So the Dick Jauron Bills were a disciplined team that knew what to do like say the Pats?

I don't think we can logically conclude that 2-a-days are just for conditioning.

Besides, take a way the lunch break and you have one-long-a-days.

They were years ago. Players for the most part show up in shape for camp now.

Most have been having under 10 for the past several years.
