change from 45 to 46 active players on game day

Thought this was interesting. Especially the bit on 3rd string qbs that are running threats. Anyone feel this could effect who we bring in as udfa, vet, or possibly Pryor?

so true i bet they only wanted 45 but had this QB rule to sneak in an emergency QB

I think this is a major change. This could make single wing specialty sets a staple of many NFL offenses. I think this rule was a deliberate attempt to sideline running QBs in the past.
