I hope to hell he can stay healthy for a full season.

MMA training is pretty intense. It definitely helped.

Can't wait to see where he's at. It's an interesting situation because the Bills haven't seen all of their players since last year ended. It will be very interesting to see what condition our players are in. I think we will hear good and bad news.

It will definitely help with his conditioning and ability to fight off blockers, but unfortunately it does nothing to prevent his achilles from being a problem.

Merriman is a gym rat and by all accounts seems dedicated to the game of football. I have no doubts that he did everything he could have done to rehab.

Getting 'injured' 15 minutes into his first Buffalo practice may have been a good thing for him (and us) in the long run. I hope, anyway.

I hope he's doing LB training too.

It's still 50/50 he can pass his initial pee test.

Hoping I'm wrong but he needs to show something immediately in the pre-season or the Bills won't pay his bloated salary.

I have no doubts either. But unfortunately that's not the determinant.

Do you have any inside knowledge on this statement or are you completely talking out of your ass?

They may need his bloated salary to help get to the salary floor.

Hurt 3 seasons in a row, suspensions for roids and hurts the achilles 5 minutes into his first practice with us ? It makes one wonder and how can we view him as dependable.

He's the one player I'm highly skeptical of, with good reason.

I doubt anyone views him as dependable. He will be boom or bust......& his pay will reflect that. If he goes BOOM, he gets PAID, if he goes bust he gets paid & cut quickly.
