I'm very happy, and my local Duffy's sports bar will be even happier to have my wife and I spending $100 or so there every Sunday.

Awesome!
My brutal bout with major depression has been lifted. Seriously ( not solely based on the NFL deal, but it's CERTAINLY helped ).

Well, I can take the pistol out of my mouth now and get off the line with Smith, looks like I did my part in the deal...

NOW DO YOU BILLIEVE?! LET'S GO BUFFALO!

Lots of injuries this year, gives us a possible fighting chance...

Question though, especially regarding The Bills...
How do you think this all will effect the play once the season begins?
Obviously, it'll probably effect the rookies & younger players the most, but do you think most everyone will be a bit 'off" for the first couple/few weeks come September? Or do you think the majority of the rust will be off after the pre-season?

Also, what about the signing of rookies & free agents?
Will we see the same amount of haggling as usual or will everyone just want to get the deals done ASAP?
Well, obviously they'll all WANT to get the deals done quickly, but do you think they actually WILL?

Thanks. I look forward to your replies.

George Wilson on the phone on NFLN...

Quick notes:

Didn't know Bills camp starts Friday...
Will be heading to Buffalo in the next day or so...
Team has been staying in touch throughout the lockout...
Will give all info regarding recertification to all team members at once...
Was very pleased with the way the Bills went in the Draft...
Excited to see who the Bills go after in Free Agency...
Was first NFL player on NFLN following end of lockout...

I think it will hurt teams like the Bills, that are trying to fill a lot of holes with rookies, UDFAs, and 1st/2nd year guys, more than the veteran teams.

REp to all thus far.

Now I need to adjust my schedule request for this season. I was going to work on Sundays this year, but I'm back to Wed-Sat.

A reason to live!!!

The Bills have to operate a a fever's pitch to get everyone ready. It's nice to be able to talk about real football-related issues though!
