Not in the sense that people are using that term. It never went any place. Other than the HOF no games were lost. The draft was held. The NFL was in the news everyday. It didn't go any place. Stop welcoming it back. All you missed was minicamps and OTAs. In other words - nothing.

The NFL being in the news every day isn't the same as having your draft picks (whom the Bills figured to rely on heavily this year) in mini camps and OTAs learning their new playbooks and systems. "Football is back" means that we can actually talk about preparing for the season, rather than a labor pissing match. Once just has to hope that for teams like the Bills, it's not too late.

the time missed with rooks is bad sure, but i understand the point about preseason games, i was kinda hoping 2 weeks would have gotten eliminated from that bull****
