The Buffalo Bills will reimburse their employees for 100 percent of the back pay that they lost during the five-month NFL lockout, a team source told The News. Like numeorus teams, the Bills had cut pay for all employees at One Bills Drive on a percentage basis, up to 25 percent. The Bills will give that money back to the employees now that the lockout is over. The employees will go back to their full previous salary before the lockout and their 401K plans also have been restored back to the start of the lockout in March.

Everyone always says that he's so cheap. But he's doing just what Woody Johnson and other owners are doing and taking care of the employees who took paycuts or were temporarily let go. That's nice to see.

if he wasn't cheap, he never would have cut them in the first place.

Finally doing the right thing now is better than not doing it at all, but people don't deserve credit for fixing their own stupid mistakes.

Get off your high horse. Most of the NFL did that to their employees.

That's right. It was posturing. "The little guy will get hurt if you make us miss a season". Puts pressure on the players and wins points with the fans. And if there was a prolonged work stoppage it would have saved the teams money. These folks were going to get paid as long as the deal was done early enough to get the preseason games in on time.

See Eb's post.

It was all bull**** posturing. The billionaire owners never lost any revenue, but they said "we're going to stop paying employees just in case we start losing revenue in August."

And I really don't care how many other owners did it. They were cheap and just as wrong as Ralph.

posturing or not, that is why they are multi millionaires and we including OP and Eb work for a paycheck.

Nice they get it back now. How about the money they lost for the last 3 months in their paychecks that they probably fell behind on the bills with or bounced some checks with. I bet they don't get reimbursed for that. Not to mention the extra interest Ralph and other owners made and that the workers may have lost on the pay.

That would be like your boss holding your check for a month or two then after you get kicked out of your house or your car gets repossessed they finally give you your check. Hey you got your money though so they did a good deed.

Exactly. A lot of teams, like the Browns, never stopped payments.

Would've been nice if it wasn't done to begin with, but all's well that ends well.

This guy can't catch a break.

If Ralph dragged is sorry ass into a burning orphanage some of you would ***** that he only saved 20 kids but let the building burn.

No, this is quite different. It's more like Ralph lighting the orphanage on fire, then telling the kids who escaped not to go back in, then people on this board claiming Ralph saved them by not letting them back inside.
