All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

Bills have already added two safeties tonight via UDFA in Cook and Glover along with drafting Searcy and another potential S in Williams. Lots of people for only a few spots.
Thoughts?
COMING SOON...

If we're replacing Whitner by UDFAs, then we're in big trouble. These pick ups may play a role down the line, as project players, but i doubt the Bills have any confidence these 2 signings will have any kind of impact next season.

I doubt we're targeting these UDFAs to replace Whitner. These seem more like depth guys than anything.
I'm not as down on him as some here, in fact I think he's a servicable safety in the NFL, but he's not worth the money that somebody will pay him and I really hope that somebody isn't the Bills.
Probably right. Thing is, it's sensible stacking up on depth at the position, on the assumption that Whitner will go where the bigger $ are.
While I think Whitner is an above average player at his position, he simply doesn't make the big plays, to justify the additional money he wants from the Bills.
From the Bills pov, they've made him a fair offer, and if he doesn't like it, then he can walk. We aren't that badly off at the safety position, that re-signing Whitner is remotely critical.

He was replaced by Searcy anyway, without the twitter drama....
UDFA'S are brought in for depth and bodies in camp.
I agree if these were the next starters then yes we are in trouble.
No one said they were the next starters....
I look at the UDFA'S list and there is some solid talent out there....
