RT @PatrickMoranBSD: Paul Posluszny is NOT worth $7 million per year (in Jacksonville). ... If someone's willing to pay him that, he is.

Way to go Pat! :bf1:

He still isn't worth $7 million.

Pat's right. Schefter is just trying to be a wise ass. I see his point, it's hard to argue NFL executives, but do people still think JaMarcus Russell was worth $61 million?

Are you saying the Raiders have "NFL executives"?

but with more money to spend, all the average players just got a bigger payout. so now a poz player is worth $7mm and the scores of lb's that are better than him will get paid better

I know this is kind of off topic but it's truly sad to see average players like Poz make 7MM a year and players that played before 1993 that built this league to what it is today that are in the hall of fame like Joe D. only get $1,000 a month pension from the league.

No, they screwed the old time players. Players that retired after 1993 are happy but not the players I grew up watching.

Wait, if I know the Bills they'll screw up the impossible, then we can complain about the guy that we should have gotten for the next 72 years.

Hell, I think we've already screwed the pooch on this one.

I'm having flashbacks to the last CBA when everybody was saying "this player isn't worth that much". Guess what? Now he is.

Pat's response to Shefter should have been:

"Does that then mean JaMarcus Russell was worth $61 million dollars?"
