All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!

In addition to the Steelers, three other teams are reportedly in the running for free agent T/G Willie Colon -- the Bears, Bills, and Seahawks. Colon wants to return to Pittsburgh, but his market is heating up
Caplan: Bills Could Be Exploring Steelers OT Willie Colon
Many Buffalo Bills fans have openly pined for the team to explore signing a free agent offensive tackle this off-season, but there have not been any indications that the team was willing to do so - particularly given that they've been so supportive of players already on the roster, such as Demetrius Bell and Erik Pears.

The good thing about Clabo and Colon drawing Buffalo's interest is that they still aren't quite happy with the OL. Have they been in a position to do something about it but haven't done so? Certainly, but possibly at the expense of other positions of need. I have confidence that they will address the OL. It hasn't been as early or as well as I had hoped thus far, but they're obviously looking to sign a starting RT and meanwhile see if Bell pans out at LT.

LT would still be weak (unless Clabo moved over), but 4 of the 5 positions would be set and we'd have some depth. Or maybe Colon could play outside.
Bell wasn't terrible last season and it's not unreasonable to expect him to continue improving. I doubt he will ever be an all-pro, but think he can definitely be above average.
