In addition to the Steelers, three other teams are reportedly in the running for free agent T/G Willie Colon -- the Bears, Bills, and Seahawks. Colon wants to return to Pittsburgh, but his market is heating up

imagine if we got Colon and Clabo?

Bell/Howard/Wrotto
Colon
Wood/Hangartner
Levitre
Clabo/Wrotto/Urbik

LT would still be weak (unless Clabo moved over), but 4 of the 5 positions would be set and we'd have some depth. Or maybe Colon could play outside.

I like how he plays a lot.

It be cool to add Clabo and get a cheaper option at Guard like Gallery whom would be an upgrade on this team.

Caplan: Bills Could Be Exploring Steelers OT Willie Colon (http://www.buffalorumblings.com/2011/7/27/2297467/nfl-free-agency-rumors-willie-colon-steelers-bills)
Many Buffalo Bills fans have openly pined for the team to explore signing a free agent offensive tackle this off-season, but there have not been any indications that the team was willing to do so - particularly given that they've been so supportive of players already on the roster, such as Demetrius Bell and Erik Pears.

As long as his name is Willie, I'm OK with it. I could not abide the Bills having a Harry Colon.

The good thing about Clabo and Colon drawing Buffalo's interest is that they still aren't quite happy with the OL. Have they been in a position to do something about it but haven't done so? Certainly, but possibly at the expense of other positions of need. I have confidence that they will address the OL. It hasn't been as early or as well as I had hoped thus far, but they're obviously looking to sign a starting RT and meanwhile see if Bell pans out at LT.

We need to extend Levitre, Wood, and Bell.

Or maybe Colon could play outside.Bell wasn't terrible last season and it's not unreasonable to expect him to continue improving. I doubt he will ever be an all-pro, but think he can definitely be above average.

What about Clabo and Dahl, just steal the nastiness of the Falcons line.

Bills are apparently out of this mix:

"A league source tells me that four teams are interested in OT Willie Colon and that the Bills are not one of them. #Bills (http://twitter.com/#%21/search?q=%23Bills) #WillieColon (http://twitter.com/#%21/search?q=%23WillieColon)"

That's fine. I;m good with Clabo or Trueblood or Ryan Harris.
