"It's official I'm back buffalo see ya at fisher!!!!"

Nice move. Saves Nix some face but he's not out of the woods until he replaces or upgrades Poz.

I'm not a huge fan of his penalties but we were young and raw without him outside of McGee.

3 years, 15 million.

Not a huge fan of 5 mill for him but fine. A few of us threw out a 5 mill per number.

That's cheap, IMO. Our corner situation looks good with him, McKelvin, McGee, and Williams - among others. I like that group (especially if McGee can stay healthy).

We need to spend the money, at least we know he's a good player and brings something to the table.

I'm fine with those numbers. Excellent. CBs are probably a position we don't have to worry about too much now. We need a veteran ILB and a decent RT would top us off nicely!!!

He was a very good player last year and a good leader on the defense. He'll be a good mentor to Williams too. I like it a lot. Fills a need. Now move on to LB.

Wouldn't you have been one of the first people to complain if the Bills let him walk. Now you're complaining about the contract? You can't have it both ways.Guys. I think I've been clear on how I feel. I'm not tied to any of these players. I see a 4 and 12 team with sub-par overall talent. I will complain when we lose a player and don't replace it with a equal or better player. I will complain when I think the teams overall talent is getting worse and not significantly better.

The true statement, and where I was wrong, was in jumping to the conclusion that we won't upgrade or replace Poz.

Yesterday I was hot because I remain worried that we will try to just go with who we have. If we do that I think it's the wrong move. Poz has nothing to do with that. It's now, it's what we do going forward. It's significantly improving the overall talent. The draft is over, we made potential improvements there. This is free agency and we should also be making improvements here.

BTW, saying I'm not a huge fan of the contract is not really complaining. I'm not exploding about it. 5 mill per is money we can easily afford and that doesn't really preclude anything.

I think its a more important signing than poz. Good job Buddy!

With Williams drafted, would you now move McKelvin for a young MLB?

For who exactly? Which young MLB is available via trade?

McGee hasn't played a full season in 2 years, need the depth.

Draft = A
Letting the POS walk = A+++
Re-signing Florence = B+
Vet QB back-up = A

I think Nix and Co are having an excellent off-season...

i have a feeling the jets told him to wait so they can see whats up with nnamdi and florence said screw that and signed with us. otherwise i dont see how anyone would choose us over the jets

The Jets have been after about 4-5 different CB's. I doubt they were pushing hard for Florence, as Asomugha is their top priority.
