What I wouldn't give for TKO.

What a mistake to send him off. You make good calls, you made some bad ones, but this one definitely would have helped. Look what we're scrapping around for now (average FAs, Kelsay, rookies, busts) while he's still producing last 4 years since we cut him.

Stay classy Takeo. Would love nothing more to see you finally taste playoffs in SD and deliver a crushing hit to Sanchez come wildcard weekend.

Spikes was better than Poz by a mile. Even the post injury Bills Spikes was better

49ers lost Spikes & just cut Clements.

It took a long time for him to regain form, so I can't entirely blame the Bills.

it took poz a long time before he stopped getting dragged 10 yards down the field. Last year it was only a 2-5 yard drag.

knowing what we know now, it made no difference to cut spikes because no lb played any better.

however, cutting clements, we had mcgee play better and had a handful of talented guys who cost a whole lot less.

the main reason we got spikes is because he followed manusky

the other reason is he provides leadership to a LB corp who is about to lose brandon siler stephen cooper and kevin burnett it looks like

we needed someone with the IR'd donald butler essentially getting ready for his first year in the nfl, joining freshly drafted james mouton

so despite picking up 34 year old takeo spikes, my chargers are about to get very young at ILB

Plus Jamir Miller, a similar player to Spikes, career was ended by the same injury.

I don't fault the Bills at all for letting him go and to be honest, if I was in charge would have done it even sooner just because of the risk involved.

Turns out he's still a productive player post injury but there's no way anyone could have seen that coming.
