I'm not sure how old Waters is now, but the guy has been one of the most highly rated guards for years, and I haven't seen anything that says it's been a 'name recognition' thing.
You would have to think he'd be an upgrade over our own Guards, atm, but the bigger question would be 'for how long'. We have a pretty decent looking bunch of guys on out interior O-Line, who are developing reasonably well, is Waters worth getting and disrupting that continuity?

No. 1) Not even close to what Nix and Gailey want. Develop the youth. 2) Why bench a player who has proven he can stay healthy and block well? 3) No.
