The bills front office look at each other and realize that they have nothing to sell the bills fans and the season tickets are low. They agree. They get another $2mm on the table. Burrnett's agent takes that offer to a team that regularly wins. They agree. The bills go home wanking it while some other team gets his services.

Hmmm....build via the draft, I'm beginning to wonder. Perhaps the reason OBD keeps saying that is because they have no f$&$ing clue how to build, improve or even conduct business via FA. This crap about dropping everything to focus on signing our rookies, never heard another team say anything like that before. If that is what they really did, they should keep that kind of intense strategy information under wraps.
