Don't know if I'm overstepping here, but I'd like to have a training camp thread that can emcompass everything that happens over the next few weeks.

Looking forward to it, Mikey. Just thought this may be a good place to centralize everything re: training camp. Hopefully people will be interested in that instead of just *****ing about free agency,

It was the first night practice of camp at Bills training camp this summer, and while the tempo at practice was healthy the execution still hasn’t reached the description of crisp. It’s early and head coach Chan Gailey knows with the brisk pace of installation improvement is going to be marginal day to day.

I must say (and I say this every year) but Im really disappointed in CB's notes from practice. His depth of notes is poor and he doesn't write nearly enough about the position drills and when does, he doesn't mention names. Examples;


The linemen were going against one another in practice in one-on-one pass rush drills. Among the players that looked good Monday were guard Kraig Urbik, who neutralized a couple of the bigger defensive tackles on a few snaps.

How hard is it to take down the number in that drill? Mikey gets it when he does his reports.

Then again I suppose I should be happy we even have these reports at all...sigh.

CB always manages to give names when a guy did something good, but if he doesn't look good, well then it was simply "a wide receiver," or "a lineman." This way we only associate the names with good things and get an overinflated sense of the team.
